Dr. Dean was also certified as a Recreation Administrator through the NJ State Board of Examiners and certified in Psychological First Aid and Post Traumatic Stress Management and Advanced PTSM from Rutgers University. Dr. Dean has served with four universities, as a subject matter expert, adjunct faculty, and curriculum developer. As a professor, she teaches several courses including: Business Management/Leadership, Decision Making, and Public Policy Analysis and Law. As a Community Leader, she has served on local and county levels partnering, and offering programs for youth, young adults, parents, teenaged mothers, and families.
She is the executive director of the nonprofit organization Faith In Action! Inc. (FIA). FIA specializes in performing arts, leadership, mentoring, education, career readiness, service, and overseas missions. Dr. Dean has established several programs and partnerships throughout Burlington County, New Jersey. She is the first community curator for WHYY, the nations leading public media company.
Dr. Dean is a writer, singer/performer, and currently working as executive producer on her first feature film. She loves her family, enjoys travel, and considers herself blessed to be able to continue serving the community and doing what she loves. Dr. Dean values the process and freedom of “thinking out of the box” amidst policies and well thought out procedures. She understands and appreciates the power and consistency of effective community service and the impact it has on people, communities, and globally. She believes that everyone has a purpose and that it is up to the individual to actively pursue it and know that with God, all things are possible!
