The purpose of the On My Runway (OMR) Scholarship Benefit is to raise money for the Bassil Hayspell Merit Award, which is given to a deserving high school graduate or college freshmen having permanent residency within the Burlington county area.  Our first benefit, “Action on the Runway”, was a complete success bringing in over $1,000. Since then, our fashion shows have brought in over $3,500—each year proving to be more successful than the previous. With your help, we will reach our goal of distributing scholarships up to $1000 to deserving students.

This year’s OMR Scholarship Benefit, “Cleaning Out My Closet”, is taking place in Unity Hall @ Tabernacle Baptist Church 150 E 2^nd Street, Burlington, NJ  08016 on November 28, 2009. The show features an open market with merchandise and information vendors, winter clothing drive, and entertainment in the form of Song, Dance, and Poetry with the main act being a full-fledge fashion show.
